Tree Swallow
Hello Steemians
The tree swallow is a very commonly seen bird. It's range covers almost
all of North and Central America, except for the extreme north.
Preying mainly on flying insects, they have been known to also....
feed on the ground, and do need the calcium of fish bones, crayfish,
or bird eggshells.
With a stable population of 20 million, loss of habitat is a concern, mostly
the clearing of forests. Man made nesting boxes aid in the cleared areas
allowing it to exist in those places.
If you live in their breeding area, you have a good chance to attract
them, by installing a nesting box, well before breeding season.
