Hello Steemians

I need some help identifying this duck.
The shot was taken in Northern Ontario,she has a smooth
brown head, and my best guess is a female goldeneye.
As the canoe neared it dove a number of times and
eventually flew off and back around to return to the
babies now behind me.
(Dove a number of times, brown head, white strips on wings,
correct area for goldeneye.)
