Melting moments - the best bakery in Dehradun

Before I begin, I have to say that no review can do justice to this icon. That is because reviews will focus on food but they won't be able to focus on the fact that this place has been an icon for more than 30 plus years, serving locals with delicious cakes and baked food and coffee. To relive my childhood memories, I came here with my friend for breakfast and coffee. This place isn't like a traditional cafe focussing on artisan coffee but it is a place to sit down, order a coffee and satisfy yourself with the smell of freshly baked items and enjoy your coffee with them. With that I will make an attempt to do an honest review of Melting Moments by Ellora's bakery.
As soon as you enter this place, you will be overwhelmed by the variety of food you can enjoy here. You can find European delicacies, tarts, pastries as well as Indian favourites - pineapple pastry, black forrest pastry, patties and more. Here is a look of the place -

I have uploaded a whole lot of pics but I haven't been able to capture it all. This place is enormous!
The bakery opens at around 9 AM. It is mostly for people who want to come buy bread and rusks. The seating is free in the morning. Also, these days locals have started going to new cafes in town so seating is available throughout the day. There isn't much of it so may be that is a drawback.
There is no menu, you walk and see what has been prepared and go order at the till. Once payment is done, you take the coupon and exchange it for food you want to have.
We ordered pineapple and black forest pastry, veg and chicken patty, veg spring roll and a chicken kathi roll and 2 coffees.

The service is quick. All savoury food was freshly baked, as were the pastries.
The patties were superbly flaky, the filling generous and tastes brilliant.
The sponge for the pastry is super soft and the cream isn't annoyingly sweet.
Coffee, though not artisan, is good. it's pre-sweetened so goes well with the savoury bits. This isn't a place where the focus is coffee. It is a cafe that wants to keep things simple and ensure you leave satisfied.
The entire food was 310 INR, less than $5. You can't beat that.
The place is clean, no hygiene issues. It has history and when you come here you'll be experiencing that as well.
I can't rate this place because I won't give it anything less than a 5, on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being . This is what every small town cafe opened by iconic bakery should be like.
