Sberbank held the first transaction using the blockchain

Russia was the first transaction that used the blockchain. The promoter of this transaction was Sberbank.

This transaction became a pilot for the Russian banking system. For its implementation was used blockchain platform IBM on the basis of HyperLedger Fabric. For the first blockchain-payment was attracted by partners of Sberbank on other projects Alfa-Bank, MegaFon and Megalabs.

This transaction was carried out between the payer and the recipient. The first blockchain-the transaction was successful. In their infrastructure, Sberbank added special functionality for the execution of payment transactions on the basis of the blockchain. It is integrated into a single service determining order of transactions, which sinhroniziruete client application and the center of the network functionality of the personal account.

Blockchain nodes that performed the operation, placed in the systems of Sberbank and Alfa Bank. They will be involved in the future. The official report States that this process will use the baseline scenario. On its basis later on, we will create a modern design feature that will handle the processing of massive blockchain payments.
