The trail of death

 Huashan (literally "Western great mountain") is one of the five Sacred Mountains of Taoism in China. Here is the "trail of death", made of narrow boards hanging over a bottomless chasm, with no railings and fences. 

 Huashan — is the sacred Chinese mountain which contains five peaks, having the form of petals, and located near the city of XI'an in Shaanxi province. The highest is the southern peak ( 2 of 155 meters): 

 There are many fascinating tourist routes, among them are the climbs on the cable car, Hiking and climbing. Curious travelers if you wish can get to each of the five peaks of Huashan — southern, Northern, Western, Eastern and Central. 

 It is most convenient to use the cable car and climb from the foot of North mountain to its top. Safe road and to the West peak. 

 Ascent on foot to the North summit, originating from the East entrance, with all the meanders and the steepness of the ascent, though, and requires a fair amount of physical training, but also not associated with greater risk, as laid on a fairly wide stone steps.

 But there is one tourist route which is able to bring the most impressionable tourists to the unconscious state is the transition from the Northern tip to the southern Huashan. Some travelers, taking the first step, literally turn to stone from the horror. And this is not surprising. 

 This road running along the sheer vertical cliffs, is called the trail of death — off the narrow boards into a bottomless abyss would mean certain death, but the flow of tourists seeking to make a risky climb, no thins.
