Colorful mountains in China

 Landscape of danxia peak in China called unique type of the earth's surface, which is characterized by red sandstones and steep cliffs created by nature. Colorful mountains in China are on the territories of several provinces in the South-Eastern and South-Western parts of the country. World-famous landscape of danxia peak is a world heritage site by UNESCO. 

 Landscapes of danxia peak got its name in honor of the same name, located in the Chinese province of Guangdong. 

 Colorful mountains in China, formed from red sandstones and conglomerates of the Cretaceous period (the period from roughly 120 million years ago to about 65 million years ago). They keep a lot of dinosaur fossils and remains of plants of the period.

These six areas include mount danxia peak in the province of Guangdong, the mountain of LAN in Hunan province (Hunan), mount Longhu in Jiangxi province (Jiangxi), mount Scanlan in Zhejiang province(Zhejiang), district Chishui in Guizhou province (Guizhou) and district Tainan in Fujian province (Fujian).
