Witch well in Tuhala
People say that the Witch's well starts to boil when it is steamed and the famous witch.
This karst spring in the territory of the nature reserve Nabala-Tuhala is an underground river flowing through the karst area was Tuhala. The water rises to the surface during flood, and the deck begins to "boil", throwing about 100 gallons of water per second. The volume of flow of the river is at least 5000 litres per second. This is a unique natural phenomenon in Europe. The witching well is not artesian well; the water pressure is created in the underground river.
Really primitive picture of the boiling manhole can be observed during the period from one day to three weeks. The depth of the well is 2.4 m because of its marsh origin water has a brownish tint.
