My Steem Journey - Update 02

Hi everyone, here's another update for my STEEMJOURNEY and I can say it is a good week. The news about Actifit's partnership with SPORTS SOCIAL is a big boost. Just a day before that news, Actifit also announced its partnership with ZZAN. Now, just by using Actifit and posting your report to the Steem blockchain, it will automatically tag your post with SPORTSTALK and ZZAN which can give you a chance to also earn those tokens. Same routine, but more opportunities to get rewards. A few days back, they also announced that they are launching a marketplace where you can use their tokens to buy something with value. These good news kept me pushing to maintain or even increase my numbers so I can maximize their rewards. I also delegated additional amount of Steem Power to them and I must say I am happy with the returns I am getting from them. If you haven't tried Actifit, it's time to sign-up now and start using their app.

One of the things I like with Steem is the cross-posting with Scot tribes. Since my previous update, I have been maximizing the use of tribes tags whenever I make a new post. I won't be joining all the tribes here in Steem but I picked several of them - PALNET, NEOXIAN, and ZZAN for general information-related posts, STEEMLEO for finance-related content, STEEMACE and SPT for SteemMonsters-related posts. Just by using specific tags, your content will be automatically cross-posted to these tribes and like the original SteemIt platform, you can be rewarded when someone upvotes your posts and curates your content. To easily browse and switch with different tribes, I recommend using Steampeak .

I play Steem Monsters everyday and I always look forward to complete their daily quest - because you get a FREE CARD after completing a quest. And free is free, regardless if it is a common card or a rare one, I still value the fact that I get something in return for my relaxation time. One thing about Steem Monsters, when you play competitively (ranking play), you get points where you are ranked with other players across the world. Depending on your points, you will also be classified into a specific league where you will be rewarded with free cards at the end of every season (a season I think runs for approximately 15 days). When the season ends, you will be rewarded with corresponding amount of cards for the highest league level that you achieved throughout the season (even if you are on a lower level when the season ended). Last season, it's my first time to get into the SILVER III league and I was very happy to receive 12 extra cards (aside from the free cards I get for completing the daily quest) at the end of the season.

If you are into mobile games and spend a decent time playing as a part of your daily routine, I highly suggest you give Steem Monsters a try. You need to initially spend $10USD though, for your initial deck, but I believe that such 10-dollar spend is one of the best investments you can have on the Steem blockchain. And among other things, your experience in many gameplays you have can also be a source for content which you can post to your blog. It's a win-win right? So head to Steem Monsters and register now!

Also, I have started the first of my series of contest - the KapengBarako's SBI Lotto Contest. In this contest, I am holding a raffle draw where I will get my winning numbers from the New Zealand lotto results. Prizes for the winners are sponsorship of Steem Basic Income (SBI) shares. Honestly, the reception for this initial draw, in spite of the promotion that I did, has not been good. In fact, there is only one entry as of this writing. And as a sign of my great appreciation for that user, I already awarded @guruvaj instant sponsorship of 1 SBI unit. With sponsoring him to SBI, I also officially entered myself into the program and hopefully purchase more SBI units and sponsor more Steemians in the future.

Another change with my settings is that in my first post in this series, I mentioned that I will set ALL my posts to have the rewards as 100% Steem Power, in my succeeding posts, I won't necessarily set it that way. I will just decide what I think is the best setting on a per-post basis.

Regarding my “stats table”, I am making again some changes on the data that I will monitor. In my last update, I mentioned that I will put my token holdings which is fine. However, when looking at my account on the Scot tribes, I decided that I will stake my token earnings to beef up my accounts on each of those tribes and hopefully realize some returns in the long run. So instead of putting my holdings, I will put the amount of tokens that I stake on the tribes that I already earned some tokens. For my main Steem account, I will still include my SBD holdings, Steem Power, and Reputation.
