Boh rambe

This fruit tastes kinda-sour sweet-sour. The flesh is very small because the seeds are large.
This fruit is widely found in Bogor and surrounding areas. In Central Java, this menteng is called mundung. Menteng, kepundung, or kemundung is a fruit-producing tree with the same name that can be eaten. Overview of this fruit is similar to the fruit duku but different tree canopy. The taste of the fruit is usually acidic (wry) although some are sweet.
Menteng used to be planted in the yard but now it is difficult to find consequences of population pressure and the planting of other fruit plants are preferred. This plant is native to Java. In the vicinity of Jakarta and Bogor sometimes still found seller this menteng fruit.
