Chile will have its first cryptocurrency ATM
This December 13 in the city of Santiago will be held the CrytoNight, an event that will have four talks aimed at the presentation of the first bitcoin ATM in the capital of the country. Tickets for the event are sold out.
Chile is reaching a new stage in the adoption of bitcoin, since establishing an ATM in its country represents a great leap in the country's digital economy. The cashier was built from the reuse of a video game machine and who did the assembly was Santiago Molins de Bitcoin Argentina, with the collaboration of several members of Bitcoin Chile.
For now, the teller is not providing service in collaboration with any banking company. However, it is expected that this particular detail will be fixed in the coming weeks, as the second ATM of this style should go into operation for the second half of 2018.
With respect to the CrytoNight, we already know that it will bring together the bitcoiners community of Chile, however bitcoins will not be the only protagonists of the conversations, since other topics related to fintech will be played.
The first topic that will be discussed at the event will be the Blockchain technology, its uses and the opportunities that can be offered to the current world. Then they will talk with the attendees about mining, for this panel will be the expert on the subject, the Venezuelan Antonio Doménico Vedelei, who will focus his presentation on the profitability of mining.
