Silver Silver Silver!!!!!!!

Last week @pit-bullion commented on one of my posts he told me about his page, so I checked it out and turned out that he pours silver. I have been really liking poured silver lately. He also has a site where he sells some poured silver, I went there and bought a couple of small pieces. EB517BAA-8B4F-49CF-B6CF-0121FABB46A4.jpeg
This is one thing I love about this community, the interaction because since he commented on my post and we talked I found out about his site and now I have another cool silver site to buy from.

Everyone here is so helpful, so maybe someone can help me with this question. Ok there are a few ways to check and see if your silver is silver but how can you tell if it is silver all the way through the piece? what if just the top is silver and the rest is nickle? how can you tell? Also when just buying bullion what is a reasonable mark up from the spot price of silver? if the piece is not being sold as a collectible?

I have always wanted silver quarters just because I think they are cool. So today I found a coin shop close by and bought a couple. And I also wanted old silver so I bought an old old quarter too but it was prices as a collectible so the price was higher than the other quarters. 8647A859-3183-4719-B5DC-B41E50D81242.jpeg

I would like to buy some silver quarters if someone has some and I could pay with steem.

Thanks for all the help everyone

I just got in some @pit-bullion stuff too! Great stuff...

As far as testing silver, there are a few ways. For coins that it is easy to look up the weight and dimensions of (quarters, dimes, american silver eagles, etc etc) a simple scale that measures grams will be able to tell you just about all you need to know. If it is not within a certain range (+ or - 0.05 grams or so) then it is likely fake because of a lighter or heavier metal.
Another quick way is to see if it is attracted to a magnet. SIlver is not magnetic so if it sticks to a magnet its not pure or close to pure silver.
There's even fancier ways you can test using specific gravity and stuff.

The best way is to just buy from trusted dealers though, haha

so if I want to test my silver rounds they would weigh 1 oz and have a certain dementions?

If they're 1 ounce rounds They should weigh very close to 31.1 grams (a troy ounce) preferably slightly over that by a couple hundredths and yea should have certain dimensions. The government stuff is pretty easy to look up specific measurements and stuff, not sure about private/Generic stuff

great pickup i need to get me some of Pit's silver! :)

I love it he has this kitkat bar look g pour I really want.
