In the absence of Willimson, Latham was captaining the New Zealad. Pakistan won the toss in the decider match and elected to bat first. Fakhar Zaman & Mohammad Hafeez opened the batting for Pakistan. Opener provided a steady start of 64 runs. Mohammad Hafeez was the first man to go. He scored 19 runs.

Babar Azam joined Fakhar in the middle. Fakhar Zaman departed after scoring 65 runs. Haris Sohail joined the party. Haris & Babar made a brilliant partnership of 108 runs. Ferguson broke the partnership by taking Haris Sohail. He scored 60 runs. Pakistani lower middle order tried to score quick runs. In doing so, they last a couple of wicket. Babar Azam 92 helped Pakistan to set a target of 280 runs to win the match and trophy for New Zealand.

For New Zealand Ferguson took 5 wickets.In reply New Zealand last inform opener early. Munro departed without adding score. Munro was clean bowled by Shaheen Afridi. Nicholas and worker provided a little stability and managed to score 35 runs without any damage when rain hit the match. Rain flow away the wishes of both team to win the trophy. specifically Pakistan who had an advnatage of run on the board. Ferguson was awarded player of the match award for his 5 wickets. Series was ended in a draw.
