Doctor Bezos Dreams

I woke up today and prayed a day will come,
when I will be rich, from my foot to the tip of my gum
Yes, those shinny gold plated teeth; I think they call it slugs.
A day when our hospitals won't look like ghetto slums
Furnished with rusty bed and mattresses with little bugs.
I wish for a time I wouldn't wish I had gone to college to program
A Utopian era when the system pays me for every coffee gram
I ever took

Everyone looks at me like a Saviour and expects me to walk on water
But I would drown if I tried to, I believe you should know better
Sometimes I love vanity just like you, sometimes even more
Some days I sit at the reception ward and daydream
of buying white Bugatti's with spinning wheels

And going for shopping at Dubia with Victoria Secret models
With this meager salaries the government roll to us?
Then I laugh.
Day dream!!! Day Dream!!! Day Dream!!!

I know they are silly But once in a while I close my eyes
And live in this fantasy world I create
Some days I just want to pack my bags and run away
But can I survive a day without the joy
Of putting a smile on a patient's face?

This is my dilemma and I guess every doctor shares the same
Trying to be Hippocrates and Jeff Bezos at the same time.
It's crazy I know. But that won't stop me from having my Doctor Bezos Dreams.
