A lot of time has passed and many things have happened. I have a lot to tell. I thought I would not go out of the dark and depressing place we were locked in, the dog shelter. So it was. I looked as usual and I did not miss anything.
Once the two beautiful girls visited us and took care to feel a little more loved and needed, I and my friend decided to get rid of the unbearable situation in the shelter. Yes, let's escape. It turned out that it was not very complicated. They did not even lock our cells.
On the way to the exit, we met no one, but as soon as we left the building, we saw the big car moving us to this place. More dogs were removed from her. To our misfortune, one of the men with the sticks saw us. This time he did not wear it. He had replaced it with something less and innocuous.
He directed this thing to us and a loud sound was heard. The dogs were distracted, and he stood motionless and smiled with satisfaction. About ten seconds I wondered what exactly happened. I wanted to ask my friend, but I did not. He was no longer among us. This harmless and little thing was far more dangerous than sticks.
There was nothing I could do. If I had stayed a little longer, I was expecting the same thing. I looked at the man to remember it, and then I ran with all my remaining strength in an unknown direction. I ran away. I got rid of it. I left the shelter. But not all. Part of me stood on the torn grass, in front of the huge door of the building. He stayed there, flooded with blood. Completed with dreams for a cozy home and caring family. Complete with a desire for freedom.
