What to do for a beginner in steemit?  (with calculations and examples)

During the week of study I managed to formulate a few rules to follow if your balance is less than 50 SP.

Rule 1: to vote for posts with large amounts.
Reason: the reward for all upvote is distributed proportional to the balances (SP) voters. And if the post is a good award, then voted for him "kit" (or "the whale") and your humble balance the system was estimated at 0% (compared to the balance of a whale).
Conclusion: you get nothing.

Rule 2: vote only for their favorite posts.
Reason: your voice, most likely, will not bring you money, because the system rounds the earned funds in thousandths (i.e. up to three decimal places), so do not try to earn some money.
Let's look at an example: the article gained 0,14$ and you decided to vote for her. Your voice will be appreciated by 0.72% (with 32SP). As we know, the system gives supervisors 50%. Thus, we get: 0,14/2*0,0072 =0,0005.
Conclusion: since the system does not take into account amounts with an accuracy of thousandths higher, your income will be rounded to 0.

Rule 3: do not vote before 30 minutes.
Although, this rule can be neglected, because you (probably) won't get rewards for voting.
Reason: in the first 30 minutes post protected from bots and awards voting is much less. In a simplified form can be explained as follows: in the first minutes you get only 10% of the possible reward on 27 minutes is 90%, after 30 minutes, 100%. *Pay attention – 100% of your possible rewards (i.e., from 0.72% I issued by the system in the example above).

A little more about how much you will receive money, if you decide now to withdraw all the funds (i.e. about the real cost of your account). In addition to the internal currency, which you can see on the tab of the wallet, there is one that interests us is Vests (its value can be seen at https://steemd.com/@ your account).

The calculation will show by example:
I have a 0.146 M Vests. The account is in millions, so my account 146000 vests. As we know, the withdrawal of SP in equal installments over a period of 104 weeks, thus 146000/104=1403vests a week.
The price for the vests is constantly changing and at the time of writing it is 226,5 steem for a million. You will receive: 1403 * 0,0002265=0,31 steem. Further all depends on the cost steem. At the time of writing steem costs about 4$. Get: 0,31*4=1,24$ a week.

What do you do to start earning in Steemit?
Option 1: to invest real money (in the bitcoin, LTC, ETH or steem).
Option 2: (without attachments) until you have enough SP, the system will pay only for posts and comments. So, we need to write good articles and leave interesting comments.
Option 3: (without attachments) to make a friend-"whales", who will vote for any of your articles.

Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 4.4 and reading ease of 91%. This puts the writing level on par with Ernest Hemingway and Donald Trump.
