Painting A Wall
Hey There Steemverse Friends,
Around 10 years ago, my parents asked me to suggest a colour for their wall. I suggested Maroon. It sounded like a good idea then. But because our country is hot, dusty and humid, you can literally see dust particles on the walls. You can literally see a film of dust.
Also over time, things were moved around and all the knocking on the walls, left ugly patches. It was time to paint it and we went with a much lighter colour this time around.
I started out at around 9am and finished by 6pm with a couple of breaks in between to fetch and ferry the kids. My Dad helped with a couple of the rounds so I could continue painting.
Because it was a much lighter colour than the previous one, I was afraid it was going to need 3 coats. I managed with 2 but I will really be able to tell tomorrow in the day. My right arm is hurting and I bet I am going to sleep like a baby tonight. hahaha

Thats plenty of exercise...u can skip bouncing ball for a day or two.the last i painted door many years ago, my hair skin also got painted haha

Looks good! I had walls like that in my old place! Makes me tired as well! We’ve been repainting the basement for a while! Taking a while because it’s not really necessary and tiring!! 😂😂 Nice to help your Dad out though! Oh and that shirt!! 😂😂

Yeah, the last time we painted our place, I said that's it. The next time we paint, the kids can do it. They should be old enough.
But of course I had to help my Dad out, or he would have gone ahead and done it himself....
Yeah, I found a use for that shirt, and now I can get rid of it...
At least I used it for something first... ;p
I’m sure it feels good to help out Dad! Yea I have to paint the deck outside, waiting for it to stop raining for a couple days. Good news I could put off that job, as the reports call for rain all week!
