An Open Application To The Alliance

This is an application. A marketing of self. A presentation of ideas to be included in the fold. You see I am hoping to be accepted in The Alliance. And in order to do that, I need to answer 3 questions. And the answers will either get me in or keep me trying. So here goes:

Question 1: How did you find out about The Alliance?
A big shout out to @elizacheng... I have seen tags and sign offs with #thealliance on several posts. But it's Eliza's post of gratitude on hitting some milestones that got me into gear 4. At the end of the post there was a call to action to join groups and communities and on top of the list was The Alliance. And so I naturally clicked on it and wallah, here I am, Jumping up and down, waving my hands wildly, wishing and hoping The Alliance would call my name.

Question 2: Why Do You Want To Be Here?
One thing I have learnt very quickly on Steemit is you need to be part of a tribe. I have always been very reserved, an introvert, just socially awkward. So this is me coming out of my shell and reaching out because I want this to work and be part of my life. I have tried fitting in on other set-ups before but I always fell flat and was quite happy to let my work speak for itself. However, having been on this platform for almost 4 months and having been present at some of the meet-ups, I have to say I have been very comfortable online and offline. This makes me want to make this long-term even more. And why would I not want to be part of a tribe that is supportive and encourages communication and inclusiveness within the family......

Question 3: What qualities do you have that would make you a valued member of the family?
As mentioned, for the longest time I preferred my work to speak for itself, but now I realise in a world full of clutter and confusion, communication with like minded people is key. So here are my qualities to consider:

I am zealous and resolute and will commit to the cause
Adaptable, a team player, but prepared to be the boss
Interests that vary, you can call me Jill-of-all-trades
Topping the list is music, my first love, my soul mate
I have experienced life in its ups and its downs
From chaos to peace, from lost and then found
So now I reach out, and ask to be given a chance
To be part of the family, To be part of #TheAlliance
