I wonder if the sky fabric tasted like pork-crackling too... what do you think? Loved this story, clearly borne of a completely wild imagination, and Anthony has to be one of my favourite characters I've met on Steemit so far. Someone who is wonderfully playful and irreverent at the end of the world? Yes please!

I think it would probably taste a bite fishy, and perhaps his teeth would discover that it really wasn't as crispy as his fingers felt. :D
There is definitely going to be more! Over the past month I've been thinking up all sorts of troubles my quirky character can get into as he traverses the fabric of space and time and now I need to get crackling on chapter two! This is my first time writing a "funny guy" and hopefully I can continue his level of enthusiasm...

Oh Wow! That created pictures in my head and got me thinking of how I would act if there seemed to be the end of the world coming. All my instincts are for survival but my husband said if the big one comes he wants to pull up the lounge chair and sit back and take it all in! Wonderful beginning and it's left me wanting more!
When it comes to the whole end of the world thing, I like to think that I'll be one of those people sitting on my front patio, drink in hand, watching the people go crazy while taking in the... whatever it is. :) Never know for sure though!

That's true, you may think you would act one way but when it comes right down to it other things often kick in.
