Why I am buying more STEEM

in #steem6 years ago

Most #cryptos are in the red, some are panicking, others are selling. Either to cap losses or the hope they can buy back in cheaper.

But the question is, if you're a #blockchain believer, an #altcoin investor, or even just a regular #steem user. What is a good project to invest in?

If you're reading this, you're already using a platform that is more than two years old and still working. It may not be perfect, but it has an active community and a very active development team. The community on the #steem blockchain has continued to grow. Just look at the interest on Google trends from such interested places such as #venezuela #nigeria #southkorea #china and #bangladesh!

If you take a look at #coinmarketcap, you will see your options are vast!

More than 1,800 projects to choose from!

So why do I continue to buy more steem?

Very simple principal, if you want to know a product, use it! There aren't many projects out there with genuine users and specially users outside of the crypto space. For many new STEEM blockchain users, STEEM will be the first #Cryptocurrency they own.

As a user, I can see this project is working and genuine. And I like to put my money where my mouth is.

So if you're new on steem and always wanted your vote to matter more. Pick up some more steem while it's cheap and power it up. That's what I am doing.

Good job! xo

upvoted, keep up the positive message @kibir88

Thanks @dj123

Also noticed the volumes for BTC/USD are the highest they have been since March 2018. The interest in BTC and crypto hasn't gone away.

More interest and volume is good for BTC and should translate into better news for STEEM. Not forgetting the coming #hardfork20 which will make the new account creation process easier!

It is cheap

Facebook+Bitcoin = STEEM

If you look at it that way, it looks like a very good buy at this price point. Will it fall further? Maybe. If it does... Guess who will buy more?

When the FOMO kicks in and the next bull market starts, people will kick themselves for not buying in at such low prices.

STEEM is at a 87% discount from its peak!

@kabir88

I had a couple buy orders hit recently but I don't think we are bottom just quite yet. You're bullishness is inspiring while I am here having bouts with the all too common cynicism of the whales.

Trying to time the absolute bottom and top of any market is a fools game.

The question is, as s buyer or seller, is it a good price for you?

I am not saying it's not going to go down further, but one of the first lessons I learned about investing was to buy in small chunks and average out to avoid being caught out by market movements.

Definitely buying some more myself this month as well...even if I don't pick up a lot of them.

Well, the downside is it goes to zero and you lose not much, the upside is ridiculous! If it becomes the dominant crypto based social network, we are talking $500bn market cap and Steem at $1,000+ per coin!
