You can't beat new potatoes! We didn't plant any this year unfortunately. Our soil needs some adjustments as our potatoes were scabby last year. I will be heading to the farmers market to get some this year!
I thought that you only have polar bears up there.
No, polar bears are much further north - haha. We can still garden here :)
We had very good potatoes last year. They lasted us almost through all winter. Although potato is not expensive to buy in stores or farmers markets it is nice to know you are eating your own food.
Yeah I agree :) I love having my garden for that reason.

Potatoes and cheese go together very well. I wish I could grow cheese in the backyard like potatoes!
