Don't get too hungry!

Me and my boyfriend went downtown for the coffee and dessert. We soon found out we were a little too late for that - the coffee shop that we intended to go to just closed.

We had to improvise. The restaurant across the street looked cozy and inviting. We decided to give it a try.

It turned out to be our lucky day. All the wine bottles were at half price!

The food was really good. I ordered chicken with rice and veggies. I did not expect to get half a chicken but my boyfriend did not complain and gladly helped me with it.

I have heard once that chicken goes better with white wine. However, we are not very picky when it comes to wines and we like to try something new every time. From the variety of wines, we picked Spanish Shiraz Pléyades.

Of course, dessert does not need many comments. It was locally made ice cream. Yummy!
