Aphid Colony | Aceh Insect
Wow... there are many Aphids here, this is the most I've ever found before. They gathered on the branch of Spondias plant and damaged the beauty of the plant, the green color of the plant turning to blackish brown.
On the branch of the plant also seen some ants pacing over Aphids, I do not know what the ants are doing to the Aphids. I did not see the ants fighting with the Aphids or eating them.
About Aphids:
Aphids are also known as plant lice, their color is very diverse, green, yellow, black, brown and also white.
They are insect pest destructive plants, especially cultivated plants in temperate climates. The damage to the plants they do is very severe, they suck the sap on the plants. Their population can grow very rapidly and quickly.

Thank you for visiting my blog

The ants are farming the aphids... cheeky beasts.
Aphids suck the juices from plant and pee sweet nectar like substance. Ants love it! They will protect the colony from predators just to have the aphids for themselves and eat the sweet stuff.
I hate the little buggers!
Interesting, Thank @ewkaw

Looks like you need some ladybugs! Where I live, the Asian beetle imposters are supposed to be having a good year.
