Hello all steemians, hope you are all doing well. Just about to share my yesterday experience with you all.
Morning
As I am working as a laboratory technician coupled with administration of health-care to some patients, I got up very early this morning to clean up all the medical center after that I received two patients. One who wanted to control her glucose level and another elder woman who complained of her legs and hips being painful. I did the first exam and collected blood samples for the second exam and then gave the follow up. I left the medical centre at 9H40 am to go and deposite the blood sample in another laboratory for examination. As I reached there, the person to whom they sent me was not there so i had to wait there for few minutes. After meeting the guy i went back home. Feeling so tired I rested for about 3 hours. Then I washed my clothes and ate waterfufu and egusi soup cooked by my grandmother.
Afternoon
At about 4pm I took the road back to the medical center for a guard.
Being at the medical centre, I received a patient consulting for stomach ache. I then collected her stool sample and observed under the microscope. Imagine what! The stool was full of yeast cells really causing damage to the patients stomach. But all that will be ok soon since I have prescribed him a drug against those yeast cells.

Evening
As i arrived the medical center, i started consulting up to 8pm and took care of each patients depending on their various diseases.After that i had a rest.
analysis remains a passion for me cause it really helps the medical doctor in the diagnosis of the pathology. It guide the medical doctor on the potential causative agent of a pathology. Let it be hematology, immunology, parasitology, microbiology, biochemistry or anatomopathology, they all have their places in medicine and medicine could not have been better without them.
