BALANCING MY EDUCATION WITH SOCIAL LIFE ON STEEMIT
Hello steemians, I'm sorry I haven't been spending quality time with you guys. As you all know I'm a student, and the session has just resumed. I need to study hard and at the same time earn an income. As you all saw in my previous post yesterday, where I talked about how my first report defence went. Yh!, It's was one the actives planned for this session. And to God be the glory, it has come and gone and it was a success. Other activities will follow as soon as possible which I must be fully involved. I'm saying this in essence so as to get you guys aware on how I plan to mange my time.
FOCUSING ON MY EDUCATION AND STEEMING SUCCESSFULLY
My plans for this session at school:
As we all know, every individual have a set goals. Yes!, I also. I have a set goal I'm to attain before the session runs to an end. I'm an Electrical/Electronic Engineering student currently on upper-credit(3.38) which seems to be fair enough for an average student like me. but I wish I were more. All have ever wanted is to be among the distinction students in my department. Yes distinction(3.50-4.00)! which I plan on attaining this session. Everyone knows that been at the top isn't an easy thing neither is it something said without hard work. So therefore have decided to stay focused and stay dedicated to my studies in order to attain my set goals. Lectures starts by 8:00am most time and ends 6:00pm or at times 4:00pm. It's always a stressful/tiring things receiving lectures for continuous 10hours. After the days lectures, I'm always tired but that doesn't mean that's the end of studying. One have to endure just to attain his/her desired goal. Which I will do also.
Other goals set to be attained this session is;
- to be among the top five in my department.
- to ensure I'm 100% present in all my lectures.
- to ensure I'm I always punctual at any of my appointments.
- to increase my skills and knowledge in my my career.
- to earn a sustainable income on campus.
How I plan on managing my steemit account:
I find so more pleasure while blogging on steemit. The posts, upvotes, comments, replies, reward and all others are just amazing. It a place where I always want to be constantly checking up on. But due to my limited time, I won't be able to do so. Have decided to use my daily 1hour leisure time to blog in steemit instead of just my regular strolling and visit. Although, I'll still do that at times. I also plan on on attaining level 45reputation before this months runs to an end. I want to ensure I post once in a day or two days depending on how chanced I am.
What I plan doing during that one hour
I plan on using the one hour to go through my feeds, upvote and comment on nice post, go through my replies, check out what's trending, make meaningful comments on others post in other to attract followers, follow others and post something new.
What have decided in other to make this work out:
Have decided to study during the day time. Although it something I haven't tried before. I'm someone who prefer to stay awake all night to study. I really love to see myself achieving things through my dedicated effort being put. Have got a calm and peaceful environment during the day time so there shouldn't be any hindrance studying at day time. All I'm hoping for is that this strategy works really well for me. If not I will revert it.
So I decide to blog on steemit at night. Ranging from 11:00pm till 2:00am if nature permits me. I'm just used to the being awake at night of a thing. So by this time I should have quality time to feed fellow steemians with something interesting. I might even decide to share the knowledge of what I gained at school during the day with you guys. If not so, but I promise to drop something nice by the way.
So I guess by following this strategy, I should be finding education easy and blogging here comforting.
You also should try to discover what's best for you as a student. Will give you guys feedback after few weeks to let you know if it's actually working out.
