Hey Steemians! Read carefully.
Three guys went to a hotel to rent a room. The receptioner told them the room costs $30.
Each guy paid $10 and went into the room.
The receptioner realized that a room costs only $25 and went to return $5.
On the way realised that $5 will be hard to be divided so he will only give $3 back and he will keep $2 as a tip.
Each guy paid $10 and the receptionist returned them $3. That means each guy paid $9 and receptionist kept $2.
[$25 + $3 = $28] + ( $2 tips) = $30

This 1 dollar does not exist, the problem is a false one.
Those 3 guys paid $ 10 each for the room.
After receiving a dollar back, it means they paid each $ 9 for the room, that is, $ 27 paid on the room in total by the three.

I just spent 20 mins staring at your post believing I can find the answer and I even used ms paint to draw 30 dots to imagine where did that money go and then i realized I just wasted 20 mins drawing random dots that does not make any sense
