Is it wrong to be ambitious? | Life experiences
We all are born ambitious, we have in our DNA the rules for survival and more than that.
I met in my short life, ambitious people, very ambitious. Some used this powerful emotion. In other cases ambition used them.
It's no secret that you have to work to be successful. For me this is the recipe for success, work, ambition and consistency.
Ambition has been for me few time ago a negative word. Because the ambitious by people around me was often used to describe a trait of negative character, and I wanted to be a good, a positive man.
I understood I had to learn what ambition is and how I can use it to bring value to my life and to those around me.
In time, I learned how important is the balance between being and not being ambitious. The way was neither. The way was to understand and feel when I have to pull with all my power to get something, or when it was time to quit.
Conclusion
I am convinced that ambition, fueled by compassion, wisdom and integrity, is a significant force that leads us to a better way. It will set the entrepreneurial force in motion and will open the door to possibilities for you and for thousands of people.
But when it is fed by greed and the desire for power, ambition is a destructive force that ultimately can cause irreparable harm to the one who nourishes it and to the ones around it.
Ambition is good as long as you mind your own business and don't hurt people on your way to reach your target. Best ambition is rewarded when you achieved something and did not talk about it and every one is left stunned after that.

Bravo, my friend @jwolf! You raised an important topic! I also asked myself this question and came to the conclusion that ambitiousness is a positive trait! If a person is not ambitious - then she is inert and indifferent!

There is nothing wrong with being ambitious. It is wrong not to be. But it is nice if you can stay humble at the same time as often people can't get those two traits in one.
