It seems whales are not whales anymore. Steemit is going down just because whales delegated to those bots. For the long term of Steemit, I believe it's better for those who delegated to bidbots to sell their steem and leave the platform.
Of course these whales won't see my post cause I am not going to pay hundreds of sbd/steem to boost the post on trending.
Ned should do something, Steemit is dominated by bots, everyone is seeing this, every newbie is seeing this.
We are waiting for nothing for the sign up process to be easier if steemit doesn't solve this problem.
They are only making money for themselves , why would they care

I guess a lot of the time they don't really make any money botting up their post so much, like a few SBD profit. How can anyone still be sending money to Jerry Banfield?
bid bots will be steemit.com's demise... Who will want to join a place that is overrun with bots? Bidding, commenting, etc.
There is/was so much potential. I don't see steemit growing very much as the stats have seemed pretty flat. Perhaps there will be a follow on wave when the entire cryto market is enthusiastic again. But with steemit overtaken by bots and with the wales (who became wales by being an early adopter or those that paid up to be a whale) who are making a great amount of income, they will milk this cow as long as they can.
