SPAM, milking, doxing, threatening, what else have you got?
I see dirty speech/hated language, i downvoted them.
usually it is fine, until I recently downvoted a prisoner -
and he started to get mad (or in marky's word, butt hurt).

I wouldn't even bother responding his comment, he can dig whatever he wants. or, BTW, I 've never been to USA and not to mention other contact information for some other guys.

I also disagree with these actions and have said as much to a couple of these accounts. I only hope people understand this is the action of a few users and not representative of Hive

i mean, spamming with porn was childish, but you did plan to take thousands of $ from him
from this 2 people, is any of them consensus witness on hive? is any of them witness on hive? or just regular accounts?
one of steem witnesses called me a dog. is that ok? will you take his steem away?
spam and milking was always happening, and if you spend just few minutes you would find accounts milking and spamming, some most probably even supported by your community.
steem at the moment needs a big banner that says "if you do xyz (add what you think should be here) your bought or earned steem WILL BE CONFISCATED"

There were much more of this before the EIP hardfork of mindless automated spam. This is nothing new.
Spam always exists (but there are more now), but not the doxing, threatening, porn comments, and intentional milking and moving-to-hive spam. and IMHO, forcing users to move to hive isn't a good idea.
I would be very surprised if it turns out that there is more spam and milking now than let's say 2 years ago. Would have to see some data on that.
Also there's been spam abuse both by bernie before, as well as others like fulltimegeek many times. It is not new.
I just find it disingenuous to see the communications in the softfork account, as well as in the recent Twitter messages, paint this as what "Hive witnesses" (in plural) are doing. As if you don't know that it is just 2-3 people. At least I have done nothing of the sort, nor anything close to it, and also condemn it. Both because it is petty and childsih, but also because it should be in everyone's best interest to allow each side to build the best products they can make and bring new people into crypto.
Edit: Threats are ofc also completely unacceptable. I was surprised to get my first ever death threat myself on Steem back in 2017. So I guess that too happened before as well.
Do you think there is more spam and other forms of abuse because Steemit removed their delegations from all the abuse fighting initiatives?
