Idaho Backcountry
Flying between mountain peaks and past the drainiages of the North Idaho mountains leaves you with an impression of the scale and vastness of this land. It makes the tales of the Idaho mountain men that much more impressive. Despite the season, it's evident that the land is powerful, and is strong enough to maintain under the most that nature can throw at it. Even on the day these photos were taken, with wildfires burning all around , you can believe that this land will survive, and that life will find a way. It makes you feel small and puts your cares and concerns in a new perspective. Most of all it's beautiful!
