Pend Oreille River

I have not taken many photos this month. The doldrums of winter have often hampered my creativity. This month has also been busier than usual. We have been packing up our house, hauling things away, and selling many of our possessions in anticipation of moving to Southern Chile later this year. We don't leave for a few more months, but we sold our house and will be renting temporarily until we move.

I found a few minutes to spend down at the river a few nights ago. The water was like glass, and the sky had a few pretty colors after the sun went below the horizon. I shot this with my newly acquired 16-35 f/2.8L. I sold my 17-40 f/4 in exchange for this lens as a small upgrade to my kit. I'm looking forward to using it extensively this summer and in our move to Chile.

Beautiful colorful skies reflecting perfectly on the water. Wonderful photo.

Nice! Been out there once (2015), and the skies weren't so clear then (firestorms in the area).
