Greetings once again and i trust we all are doing great! I will be writing on the topic: Should the firstborn child of a family be male or female?! see details below:

The first child in the family is usually important and carry lots of responsibilities. Given the amount of things they are expected to do, do you think the position is best for a male or female child?

Both sex are important in the family but when we talk of responsibilities, it's pointing at the male!

I have never think of having a female child as the first born of my own family. This is because of the attitude they portrait as this will be disclosed in the future of this article. However, the first born position is best for a male child.

What are the advantages or disadvantages if its male or female?

There are too many advantages having a male child as the first born of the family as discussed below:

1. Having a male child as the first born will encourage the father that he has a replace should in case he died. Here the first born covers the gap which the father has just left and making sure that all the father's properties are saved.

2. A male child will grow and become a man and will help to guide his sisters on the right part to go.

3. He will provide food for the family when there is no food

4. All the female children will respect him as he is representing their father.

5. He thinks ahead of time and equally takes responsibility for his action.

A male child as the first born of the family will give the family strength for fast growth. Unlike some families, if a woman gives a man only one child(male), the man will always remain grateful to her than when she gives birth to 5 female children.

This is because, there won't be anyone to replayed the man when he is gone to rest.

Disadvantages of having a female child as the first born of the family

1. Having a female child as the first born can be misleading. This is because of the family responsibilities which she may not be able to handled.

2. Early marriage: Some of our first born get married at the age of 18th which is seen as an adulthood and this will create a gap in the responsibility of the family.

3. Some girls once they are mature, they sees themselves as big girls and because of this, they don't longer sit at hope.

4. Unwanted pregnancy: This has been the major wind in many families at the early stage of some female children as the first born of the family. At this point how will your younger ones see you? And what advice can you give to them?

At this stage, you will be a mockery to your parents as well as your family members! Which is a symbol of disgrace.

1. When the first born is married out, some of them don't remembered their family again not to talk of sending alms to their parents.

Because of all these things, i have preferred having a male child ass the first born of the family.

Introduce your family firstborn to us - name, city of residence, occupation, etc..

The first born of my family is a female child. Her name is Ekaiatte and she lives with her husband in Abia local government area of Cross River State. She takes farming as her occupation.

What is so special about him/her? How does he/she help your family?

What is special about her has nothing to write home about! This is because of her lifestyle which i don't link.

How can you as the first daughter of a family just forget the family? Simply because you are now married even when she has not married, i have not seen any important help she has rendered to the family.

Sometimes i will get provoked and want to talk to her but because i was not even her follow backed, i will keep quiet and i will start having a thought of how i wish i was the first born of this family.

A first born in which to even come and see her mum, is an apology which is bad. And any day she comes, it will be as it she has done the whole world by involving her mum in long discussion.

How should parents prepare firstborn children ahead of the responsibilities they will face in the family? Be detailed!

Children comes from God whether male or female child should be welled prepared by parents because charity begins at home.

If the first child is welled prepared, he/she will equally prepare the younger once and he/she will be a kind of person which the young ones will emulate his/her character even when she has left the family as a woman.

When a Lady is welled prepared by her parent, anywhere she goes, she can not be ignored and these credits goes back to her parents.

But some children are naturally difficult to cope with because of their characters.

However, parents should try their possible best to train their children in school because this will give them a correct mindset of handling responsibilities in the family as well as expanding their thinking faculty.

Conclusion

A male child is more preferred to a female child as the first born of the family due to responsibilities placed on the first born.

Today my elder brother takes all the responsibilities of the family even when he is the fifth born of the family. This is because the from 1st -4th born are all female and they have gone to build their own home!
