This Steem Monsters Kickstarer has finally sucked me into the Steem Monsters Rabbit Hole
Yes, I've been using extreme levels of willpower to stop myself from jumping into the Steem Monsters rabbit hole, but with this new Kickstarter campaign, it's down the rabbit hole I go.
At first, I purchased the $50 Reward Tier thinking that's enough to dip my toe into the water but as I read more I realized the $200 campaign tier was a much better buy.
Of course, I'm hoping they reach their $75K stretch goal which will land me another 50 Beta Booster Packs at no extra cost. That's a pretty sweet deal and they're well on their way to meeting this stretch goal.
I even made a video for them trying to promote their campaign, but my YouTube channel is a little sluggish at the moment, so we'll see if it gets some traction.
I particularly like the exclusive gold foil cards on offer, which should increase in value quickly due to the limited number on offer.
But the only thing I don't like is I have to wait to crack open some boosters :-(
Damm it, shut and take my money already!
Kickstarter should have an early campaign release option for digital products like this :-D
But I am tempted to buy a starter pack and some boosters just to get some skin in the game. If you see a SteemMonsters Dtube video from me in the near future you'll know I just couldn't resist.
And hopefully, I'll see you on the battlefield. Be sure to bring your 'A' game because I like a challenge.

I invested in the $50 as well and I am already kicking myself in the ass for not putting more thought into my purchase and going with the $ 200 instead as its very likely $75K goal is met and boom 50 free beta packs. I was a little quick on hitting the buy button and never read the goals portion of the page until after my purchase.
Good News! You can still change your pledge, and the $200 earlybird pack with gold foil epic is still available. As we've seen the foils disappear when the early bird rewards are gone so getting an exclusive foil and potential bonus 50 booster is well worth it IMHO.
hahaha it is hard to resist not opening them! I won a bunch of card packs and decided to give some away, so you can check that out if you want... but it's soooo hard to not just want to open them all. Lol I only let myself open up 4. But good idea with the kickstarter haha you went from dipping your toe to all in!
