Steemit Self Introduction

Happy steeming everyone! I joined steemit for a month already and haven't made a good self introduction. So I'm making one this time. My first name is Jinky; I'm using it as my account name. My friends used to call me 'jinkay' 'inkay'or 'jinkz'. I'm from Cebu Philippines and wish to share my blogs all over the world.

*HOW DID I KNOW ABOUT STEEMIT

• My sister @junababatuon kept on talking about this steemit thing. My cousin @jenesa introduced steemit to her. Upon listening to her I got interested and decided to join in.

MY WORK

I'm a government employee as an educator. I was once assigned in the island school for 3 years. I worked as a guidance coordinator and have helped the school to implement guidance policies and get invited in some seminars as a resource speaker. Being a group dynamics facilitator is my part time job. I'm a career guidance advocate, a mental health advocate and an active member of Psychological Association of the Philippines. My work afforded me to engage in social responsibilities. Now I am currently teaching in the mainland school.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and still working to finish my masters in Clinical. It took me courage to take the board exam though I know its not easy. But I tried my luck and God did not let me down.
Many would ask what is that. I admit that's not a known profession since its just newly regulated by PRC. Psychometrician is a professional who practices the science of educational or psychological measurement or psychometrics. Psychometricians develop assessment tools and measures the validity and reliability of a psychological test.
I know this sounds not easy but this field catches my interest and I'm working to practice my second profession.

My proud parents during my oath taking as a registered psychometrician. This is their second time to attend my oath taking. The first one was when I passed the licensure examination for teachers. It makes me really happy when I make them feel proud. Everything I do is for them. They are my inspiration to achieve great things. In fact I am working hard for them.

MY FAMILY

Family is my jewel. Yes, I'm a family oriented person. I love to keep my family together and loves to celebrate important occasions with them.

My happy pill. My dosage of dopamine. I'm always in hype everytime I am with my nieces and nephew.

ME BEING WITH FRIENDS

I'm a happy person and loves to be with people with sense of humor. My mouth is always literally open when I'm with friends because I laugh out loud, as in almost all of the time. Anyways, these are my friends. They are my travel buddies. We enjoy doing adventures together.

MY WANDERS AND WONDERS

I love to travel and do adventures. This was during my trip in Bacolod. Sky biking is an awesome experience.

This one was taken during our mountain trekking in Dumaguete. I also love to do falls hopping. I wish to achieve one of my bucket lists which is to visit all the waterfalls in Cebu.

Canyoneering with college friends. I think this is the most challenging adventure for me. Imagine walking, trekking, jumping and swimming for almost 5 hours, all for the sake of adventure and experience.

Chasing sunrise and sunsets is one of my hobbies. It always fascinates me. They always leave me in awe.

I wish to blog all my travels here on steemit. Its a good avenue to share my experiences.

ME AS A FOOD LOVER

God knows how much I love to eat. I love experimenting on food. One of my bucket lists is to try the different cuisines in the world. I'm starting to try Asian food. So far, my favorites are Thai, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese food. Of course nothing beats what my tongue really wants, Filipino food. As they would say, 'People who love food are always the best people'. I'm excited to share my food blogs here on steemit.

ME AS A PET LOVER

Meet my Shi-shi. She's a Japanese-shitzu breed. Yes I'm a dog lover. I believe that dogs are truly man's bestfriend.

Happy birthday to my Shi-shi. My happy pill. We also have another dog at home. Her name is Carmela. And we have a cat at home. His name is Mesoy. I'm excited to blog about my pets.

ME AS A BUSINESS WOMAN


We have a small business shared by me and sisters. Its name is 'ENA2' which means homey. Its just a small restaurant which serves Filipino food such as calamares, sisig, batchoy and buffalo wings. We also serve snacks like fries, burgers, dynamites and other desserts. Frappe and fruit shakes are also available. Our restaurant is known with its tuslob buwa (dip in the bubble) which is known in Cebu. Its a pig's brain cooked with other spices. I'll be blogging soon how its done.
I'm happy to see our customers being satisfied with our food. I wish to read some blogs about business insights here on steemit.

MY EXPECTATIONS IN STEEMIT

I've done my own research about steemit and so far it has good reviews. My friends and colleagues can attest to that. They say steemit is fun. I hope to meet new friends here on steemit and enhance my blogging skill. I'm still learning on how to steem effectively and share blogs with meaningful content. I'm looking forward to a more wonderful journey here on steemit.
