TASTY TUESDAY #79 SPECIAL SWEET POTATO ROLL, MY ENTRY TO @QURATOR

Hello everybody,

Her is a sweet recipe that I cooked. Whenever I cook this sweets, I always remember my Nanay - mother. She always prepare this for us as our school snacks and my children, too.

Here is my version, I added egg and used fresh milk, while my Nanay used plain water and just condensed milk.

MY R E C I P E

Ingredients:

1 kilo sweet potato, cooked and mashef excluding skin

1 big can condensed milk

1 egg

1tsp flavoring...vanilla

1/2 cup water or evaporated or fresh milk

Meduim size lumpia wrapper unsalted

Cooking oil.

PROCEDURE:

Combine condensed milk, egg, fresh milk and vanilla essence.

Cook in low fire, stir continously.

When mixture is slightly sticky or thick, add to mashed sweet potato, mix well.

Fill in 2 tbsp of the mixture, roll in meduim lumpia wrapper and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Done! This is yummy for breakfast with hot coffee or choco or snacks. Children loves to eat this.

This is suggested to eat after cooking about 30 minutes for it is still crunchy.

And, oh by the way, when you cook this for business, this is a fast seller just like hot cake.
