Hello Steemians,

Carcar City, Cebu...known as the
Heritage City of Cebu for Carcar is the home to various Spanish
and American-era houses and structures. It is the 5th City income class component City in the province of Cebu, Philippines.

Carcar is also famous as Cebu's shoe capital because of it's long
history as the province's premier footwear manufacturer making shoes and sandals especially the
famous crocheted Espadrille.

Carcar's most famous native delicacies are Chicharon(crispy pork skin), Ampao(sweet cooked rice in bars), Bucarillos(sweet dried Coco meat) and in my personal
experienced their Lechon is soooo yummy! Paired with big sizes of Puso or hanging rice "Kasing" shape...taste good!

Also at dawn, hot chocolate(pure cacao-Sikwate) and oh...la... la...Purple Coco sticky rice(puto) my Fave! Sooo...Yummy!

Because of Carcar's strategic location, it is the stop over of buses and private cars to all tourist destination South of Cebu like Simala in Sibonga, Whale Shark in Oslob and Kawasan Falls. Fast foods like Mcdo, Jollibee, 7eleven and food businesses within the vicinity of Carcar Old Public Market is open 24 hrs to serve the Travellers.
