I Got My First Christmas Present For This Year

Hello Steemians!

I am exuberant. I got my first ever Christmas present and I love it! It is simple and it does not cost too much. I actually got it from my parents.

Nope, it ain't a mobile phone. It's a cellphone case.

I have been wanting to change my phone's case for quite sometime now, but I would end up indecisive and would just put it off to another time. Now, I finally have it materialized. Earlier this afternoon, my siblings and I went to a nearby mall to shop a new phone for my brother. Evidently, we have been given cash as presents by our parents, but in my case, I was left to decide which I would like to have for a gift.

Before we left the house, my brother already knows what he wanted to have for a phone. So, when we arrived at the mall, the challenge was just to look for the store that sells that unit he's wanting to buy. It took approximately 6 stores including stalls, to search for it, until we finally stopped by at Rulls. We were fortunate. It was the only store that sells the Flare 6 phone, and that was the last among the stops we made. Otherwise, we'd have to go downtown to search for that particular unit. To make the long story short, he definitely got a hold of his new phone, and there we directly purchased it.

What about my story?

While my sister and brother were busy talking to the sales person who assisted us, I kind of roam around the venue and saw that they have got several choices for phone cases. So, I decided that I would want to have a phone case right there and then.

They have few choices for my phone unit though, so it took me a few minutes to choose which one would be nice. With a little nod and agreement from my siblings, I finally opted for this one:

I appreciate it. This one will land a place to my collection of things with sentimental value, as this the first gift that I have received, now that I am unemployed full-time (from the corporate world).

It is time for this old one to take some rest, and I thank its service to me for the past year.

I am a newbie in the freelance world and still struggling to keep up. However, no worries guys, while I am in this virtual world that I chose to live in right now, this Christmas season my gifts to all of you, might not be as tangible as the ones in the previous years, but I can guarantee that my heartfelt and sincere prayers would always go out to you all guys, wherever and whoever you are.
