El 01 de mayo se celebra el día del trabajador, en mi familia estamos acostumbrado a celebrarlo con una parrilla, pero desde hace casi dos año que murió mi padre no se volvió a festejar, pero este año me decidí hacerlo con mis hermanos, madre y sobrinas en honor a él.

Mi padre era una persona muy alegre y familiar le encantaba siempre las reuniones, todos los domingo se inventaba algo para compartir y jugar su juego de mesa preferido, el dominó, con una rica parrilla o una sopa cruzada. Siempre el primero de mayo lo celebramos en nuestra casa desde que tengo uso de razón con una gran parrilla.

My father was a very happy and familiar person, he always loved meetings, every Sunday he invented something to share and play his favorite board game, dominoes, with a delicious grill or cross soup. We always celebrate May 1 at our house since I can remember with a great grill.

Este año la situación con el Covid-19 las celebraciones de muchas personas han cambiado, unos los hacen y otros no, pero en mi nuevo trabajo nos regalaron una pierna de cerdo por el gran trabajo arduo que hemos realizados desde que inició la pandemia aquí en mi país, nuestro jefe nos obsequió para que los disfrutáramos en familia, en ese momento me llegó a la mente los recuerdos de mi padre, como se fuera emocionado al ver éste regalo, primero sé que estaría orgulloso de mí por el gran trabajo que estamos realizando.

This year the situation with the Covid-19 many people's celebrations have changed, some do and others do not, but in my new job they gave us a pig's leg for the great hard work we have done since the pandemic started here in My country, our boss gave us so we could enjoy them as a family, at that moment the memories of my father came to mind, how he was excited to see this gift, first I know he would be proud of me for the great work we are doing doing.

Pero luego me fuera dicho: “Hijo vamos a montar la parrilla y a celebrar, arreglemos la leña asemos éste cochino, celebremos nuestro día juguemos dominó”, mis hermanas y mi madre estarían en la cocina preparando la ensalada, yuca y lo que no puede faltar en unas de nuestra parrillas la exquisita guasacaca que a veces la preparaba mi padre o mi madre, la mesa en el patio de la casa, en donde siempre cenábamos en familia todos unidos, esa fuera pasado si mi padre estuviera con nosotros, esto lo escribo con un nudo en la garganta.

Pero esta ocasión, el escenario fue otro arreglé la leña en esta oportunidad solo, no estaba mi padre conmigo (te extraño papa) físicamente pero estaba en mi mente, sus hermosos recuerdos me venían a la mente de cada celebración que compartí junto a él, mis hermanas y madre realizaba la ensalada, yuca y la guasacaca.

But this time, the stage was another one I arranged the firewood this time alone, my father was not with me (I miss you dad) physically but he was in my mind, his beautiful memories came to mind of each celebration that I shared with him, My sisters and mother made the salad, cassava and guasacaca.

Mientras se creaba la brasa para el asado, picaba la pierna de cerdo, la condimenté con sal, ajo y orégano (una planta aromática que le da un gusto a la comida), la parte del cuero lo coloque a sofritar para realizar unos ricos chicharrones para acompañar la parrilla. Cuando estaba lista la brasa, coloqué los bistec de cerdo en la parrilla. Celebré con mi madre, hermanos @celi130, @raulmz, @girlhunter y mi hermosa sobrina Daniela, reunidos en nuestra mesa del solar, por el momento de nostalgia, nos olvidamos de la cámara no pudimos tomar fotos, solo antes de iniciar a comer que mi hermana me tomó unas con la parrilla. De esta forma celebré el día del Trabajador.

I celebrated with my mother, brothers @ celi130, @raulmz, @girlhunter and my beautiful niece Daniela, gathered at our solar table, for the moment of nostalgia, we forgot about the camera we could not take photos, just before we started eating that My sister took me some with the grill. In this way I celebrated Labor Day.
