Lisbon knitted tree/ TreeTuesday
For those who will be lucky someday to go to Lisbon, and will be staying in part of town called Graza, maybe you will stumble upon this unexpected moment as I did.
Coming back from long day walk, on some 30C degrees I was looking for place to sit. And at this small square a saw this beautiful tree. I believe that people who are living around same square made this knitted dress for the tree.
I set there for a while and enjoyed this unexpected surprise I was given.
Nice :). I remember around two years back trees in what was then my hometown, Amersfoort (Netherlands) were being dressed in a similar way and it was so funny to see. Like receiving a warm smile from someone :). None of them were done as nicely as this one though
I bet it looked super unreal and pretty.
A hand knitted blanket for a tree. Lovely! Here in Austin, there's a trend where street artists are decorating tree trunks and power poles with ballroom dresses.

Yes, it's like the trees and power poles are getting ready to dance. I'll start snapping pictures for you next time i see these.

I am going to Lisbon this November for Steemfest 2, I would love to find this tree. ^^ Do you have more directions how to find it?
@m31, I tried yesterday somehow to find it on map but it's impossible, you will understand what I'm talking about when you go there :) so many small streets, going up and down, like labyrinth.
