Art to wear
Before all this started, I got massage on my Facebook page from a lady that is a fan of my art.
She asked me do I have some prints or badges of my work since she would love to buy some.
At that moment I wasn't even thinking about that but she got me thinking about idea.
So, past few years I was doing some dog drawings for fun ( I am huge fan of dogs, love those beautiful hairy creatures ). Drawings were made in sketch books mostly just with pencil.
Also I would like to say, by that time I had no knowledge about Photoshop..
So, idea was, to make crops of drawings and add some Ps coloring.
It was a ride :) but I managed and idea started to become real.
Second step was to find someone who will print badges ...
Finally I found a great small shop doing only badge prints.
What a joy was to see them finally alive.
They are 2.5cm radius, 5cm size.
And now I wear them on bags, scarves, and some of them are selling in few city gift Galleries I work with.
I am so happy when they say me people buy it for kids. Love the idea that some kid is wearing my art and some dog face is making him happy.
Next step I am thinking of are shopping bags and mugs..but this will have to wait a little bit more.
