All thanks to my dear online friend, @me2selah for tagging me, she had written about her Knight and Shining Armor, while reading through her article, I felt like I was taken to the clouds nine. It was a very lovable article, she truly had honored her husband and those words of appreciation encouraged me to also write my entry.

So again, thank you sis for tagging me. I am now going to share with you the important man in my life and that's my husband @panoramicview.

I met my husband before we entered college, he was a stranger back then, we attended this one-week summer practical training program. But we met again in the university, it turned out that we were schoolmates and even blockmates!

From freshmen years until the senior year, we were part of a group of friends and it was only when both of us became single at the last year of college when the feelings for each other had blossomed. Life in college was far better when we were together, we were also groupmates for our thesis project.

We were in a relationship for seven long years before we got married. It was 2008 when we became a couple then we graduated college together, we started working, and then on our 4th year, I decided to go to Dubai to work as an OFW or overseas Filipino worker.

We were on a long distance relationship for two years. I came back and we got married after a year, now, we are also seven years married, 14 years in a relationship! But it still feels like we just met yesterday! Oh love has indeed come our way!

I consider my husband as my best friend and my ally, he is a good listener to me, he could listen to my rants and my sentiments all day without blinking, I know that's an exaggeration but he's like that. Many times before when we were still boyfriend and girlfriend that I try to test his love for me like I try to push him away but he would always stay. Even now that we are married, he would never allow us to be separated.

When I got pregnant, he was always there for me, he provided everything for me and made sure that our little one would be comfortable when he comes, thus he had sacrifice a lot for our family.

He is also the person who is directing me to love God as well, he rebukes me as well when needed, he is also very forgiving and I praise God for giving him that kind of patience.

My husband is important to me because without him, I wouldn't be the same person as I am today. He prays for me and he also reminds me always of God's love. He knows my struggles and pain. He knows my weaknesses and even my bad traits yet he loves me the same.

He is my best friend, my travel buddy, my confidante, and above all the head of our little family, thank you for sacrificing a lot for us, giving us everything we need, and filling us with love and tender care.
