Forgiveness is one of the most powerful forces in our world, for it relieves a burden not only for the person being forgiven, but also for the person giving forgiveness. The person being forgiven finally feels free from guilt, sorrow, or regret. And the person giving forgiveness finds closure and resolution to their grievances, and lets any pent up emotions simply wash away with the tide.

Forgiveness can truly change our world...and I will never forget the quote about it that I first heard 3 years back, and has remained a source of inspiration for me ever since: "Forgiveness is unlocking the door to set someone free and realizing that you were the prisoner" - Unknown.
