This Father's Day, I reflect on my time living in an orphanage in Africa at this time last year.

Thus, most of all today, I want to honor those who have taken on the father figure for those who need them most, even if they don't share blood ties. I was extremely inspired and honored to get to know the orphanage director so well during my time there, and on a daily basis, he really is the father that the children are missing. And he always goes above and beyond for them, in ways that will leave you absolutely awestruck. He gives his heart and soul to the children and the orphanage, and so in addition to wishing a Happy Father's Day to my awesome Dad, I wanted to honor David, the orphanage director, and all those who give children who have lost their fathers...another Dad to call their own and do life with! Y'all are a true inspiration!
