Coding For Youngsters
With computers and technology so entrenched in our lives it is important for children to have an understanding in how it works.
Not that everyone needs to be a geek. My kids and I have gone to Geek fest today and here is a picture of them playing Minecraft on a Raspberry Pi.
I think raspberry pi computers are great low-cost tools to teach kids about programming, linux, and encourage making small tech projects. Have fun with your kids!
Thanks, it was great fun. Especially the virtual boxing on the Playstation Eye. They even had this other device I've not seen before called a Makey Makey. Turns fruit into a control pad!
