visit the castle of Heidelberg in winter

The castle of Heidelberg stands on top of a hill above the oldtown.

It was built in 1300 a.Chr. and destroyed and rebuilt after several attacks. Now it's getting renewed step by step.

To get to the top you have to ascend lots of steps or by cable railway.

And then enjoy the awesome view over the city.

And visit the inside of the castle, the garden and go ahead to the king's seat.

Even in winter it is a beautiful trip. I should do more tourist stuff in my hometown.
