Buko Pie (Coconut Pie) | Philippines' Famous Pie

Buko Pie or coconut pie is one of the famous delicacy here in the Philippines specifically in Los Baños, Laguna. From the name itself it is made of the white flesh inside a coconut, and just like how a normal pie is served it is as well bound to be sliced. Because of the popularity and delicious taste of it many establishments create stalls just to sell buko pie here in the Philippines.

Buko or Coconut is like an all around player in the nba it can do alot or rather you can do a lot from it from top to bottom. Its leaves can be used as a broom stick or in tagalog walis tingting, its trunk is used to build houses or structures and even furnitures. And ofcourse the fruit is edible which can be made into a salad, juice, pie,even oil and alot more. And after getting the white flesh and juice from the fruit don't throw the husks it can help to shine your floor through rubbing the wax that is applied on the floor.
