What are the secrets to succeeding as an entrepreneur?
It is important to know what success is as an entrepreneur before determining if you can succeed.
Success isn't a one day event. It is a compilation of wins coupled with defeated failures over a period of time.
Many entrepreneurs go into business with the hope of becoming successful in the twinkle of an eye or with the snap of a finger but it doesn't work that way.
Many people think success happens suddenly, for example, you suddenly start seeing a business in the limelight. Success doesn't happen suddenly.
The secret to success as an entrepreneur is consistency. Consistency irrespective of the failure(s) you encounter, consistency even when you think you hit a jackpot, consistency when things doesn't seem to go right, consistency all round.
According to a research, many businesses go into oblivion in their first 2-3 years of starting out.
Personally, I know of a company that didn't even last up to two years.
The difference between successful entrepreneurs and unsuccessful ones is their ability to remain consistent despite the hurdles.
Do you want to be successful? Remain consistent. Not many people play on this lane.
