What are the factors that cause a relationship to die?
There are several factors which can cause a relationship to die. For me, I see relationships as test phase, if it works out, fine, if it doesn't, fine also. A relationship that occurs before marriage is just getting to know the person and see if you guys fit together. Many factors can cause a relationship to die and some of these factors are:
- Values: When the values of both parties involved in a relationship do not align, it is easier for one or both parties to break up which eventually leads to the death of the relationship.
- Lying: If there's one thing I hate the most about relationships, it is lying. I can break up with a guy if he lies to me and I find out. That's how much I hate lying, and no matter how beautiful our relationship is, if you tell a very grave lie to me and I find out, it is over between us. I love a relationship whereby no secrets are kept and we tell each other the truth at all times.
- Lack Of Communication: A relationship cannot survive without adequate communication. If both parties cannot communicate effectively to themselves, then the relationship is at the verge of dying.
- Distance: Distance is also a contributing factor to the death of relationships. Some people do well with a distance relationship, and while others do not. Both parties involved in a relationship will have to understand what works for them and what doesn't. I have seen a lady cheat on her guy with claims that she feels he is doing the same since he is far away. For me, distance isn't a problem in a relationship to me. But like I said, both parties have to understand what works for them.
