in #travel8 years ago (edited)

Iceland is best known for the natural wonders of its environment.

But Reykjavik has some stunning architecture too.

The Harpa is a concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavík. The building has a coloured glass facade inspired by the basalt landscapes of the country.

The Sun Voyager is a sculpture by Jón Gunnar Árnason, located by the sea - it is described as a dreamboat, but it looks more like the skeleton of a Viking longboat.
