By linking your Steemit account to Snax you can get rewarded just for posting on Steemit. Also you can currently link your twitter account so that all posts there will be rewarded. Snax is a blockchain platform with wallet that you can download onto your pc or laptop. I have linked my Twitter account and received another 50 Snax tokens, taking me up to 100 for the airdrop overall, probably just a drop in the bucket for now.
