Craig Wright is not Satoshi so delist Bitcoin Cash SV

You may be aware of the current battle in the cryptocurrency community around the pioneer in the industry Dr Craig Wright. He is known to be a fraudster who has been claiming since 2015 already to be the legendary founder of bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto. Curiously he is an Australian and a lot of Satoshi's early correspondence before he went off line, was sent around the daylight times of Australia. Time stamps are one of the ways bitcoin uses to verify transactions and are the proof on the blockchain that makes it so valid.

Dr Wright is a computer scientist and may have been part of the early cypherpunk movement of which Satoshi was a member too, but most of the bitcoin community think he is a fraud and a cheat after years of trying to put himself forward as Satoshi. It’s actually becoming a joke. Or it would be if he didn’t decide recently to sue some private person going by the alias “Hodlonaut” for calling him out and labeling his claims as false. And it is no small figure he is trying to sue for. He even went as far as publishing a Medium article on 5 April saying things like:

“The moniker, Satoshi Nakamoto, was simply a way of being able to work and have some privacy in my life.”

To this day there is no concrete evidence to support his claim. In fact there is overwhelming evidence to the opposite, which directly goes against him. He was able to get lots of media attention and bribe people to back his claims without themselves being informed. Here is a list of evidence against Dr Wright from https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Craig_Wright

• Wright's claimed PGP key was provably backdated.
• He was paid millions of dollars by nTrust to 'reveal' himself as Satoshi (this is for those who think he lacked motive)
• Signature claimed to prove him to be Satoshi was worthless.
• Second claimed "signature" was also an obvious forgery.
• N-th claimed "signature" was yet another obvious forgery.
• Faked blog posts showing his early involvement in bitcoin.
• Craig Wright is apparently using his fame to run an advance-fee scam.
• Gross technical incompetence.
• No evidence of any C++ proficiency.
• Plagiarism
• If Craig Wright really was the creator of Bitcoin, the proof would be trivial. We see an example by Charlie Lee the creator of Litecoin.

That he can claim to be Satoshi without any serious technical competence is laughable. CZ, the CEO of Binance, possibly the biggest bitcoin exchange globally, has called him out directly on Twitter as a fraud. As part of the team that brought us the breakaway of a breakaway in Bitcoin Cash Satoshi Vision BCHSV, Wright has already caused controversy by creating the hard fork. CZ has decided to de-list BCHSV from Binance exchange and other exchanges are following suit, like Kraken. The price of the token crashed over 10% on the news recently and looks like it may struggle to survive this snub. But Wright brought it upon himself. His lawsuits are not appreciated in the community and they have stood up against him in support of his victims, if you want to call them that.
text15.png
An earlier lawsuit against Wright was also opened in February 2018 already, over a year ago, by the estate of Dave Kleiman in Florida over the rights to over $5 billion worth of bitcoin. Dr Wright apparently defrauded Kleiman of the bitcoin as well as intellectual property rights. So he is suing and being sued to the tune of millions. It is a real soapbox saga, in the bitcoin community which already has a notorious history among the mainstream society. I don’t see Dr Wright coming out of this unscathed. His reputation is tarnished and his token is going down in flames with him as he becomes alienated and de-llisted. His Medium post is truly a manic piece of fraudulent fiction, although who am I to say. I wasn’t around at the time. But considering he isn’t Satoshi, the claims are audacious and delusional or fraudulent, making Wright a con artist of note.
text15.png
If he is Satoshi he shouldn’t have to worry because he would have the private keys to a lot of bitcoin and would be very wealthy. But the evidence against him is just too obvious and is mounting. Nobody will trust him anymore. If anybody’s getting rich from this it’s the lawyers. These cases could go on for a while as money gets poured down the legal drain. BCHSV has climbed to $96 in recent weeks but fell dramatically to $54 on the de-listing news just two days ago. At least holders of the token received them for free in the hard fork airdrop so many are trading with free extra money, and so nothing to lose. So much extra free tokens just produced out of thin air in the hard fork makes me wonder if this doesn’t go contrary to the deflationary concept of a bitcoin limited to 21 million only. That has all been stretched more than once in the whole Bitcoin Cash debacle. Let’s see where this goes. Do you think Dr Wright is Satoshi or that BCHSV is a valid token, the original bitcoin? He could simply make a transaction from that original account said to be Satoshi’s to validate his claims which I read he also claimed was his, I ask why wasn’t this the first thing he did after revealing himself?

Exactly, just show your proof of keys and we will believe it's you Satoshi.

Just goes to show how far people will go to perpetuate a narrative, there really are no limits!

Out of curiousity, what would he really gain in the long term for revealing himself as Satoshi Nakamoto- yeah- perhaps the fame and then???

Good question and why would Satoshi come out of hiding now suddenly, making himself a huge target?

yes. unless he has something cooking up in the background so, he needed the attention especially when its time to launch it? says the paranoid/suspicious part of me. hehehehehe

I was not aware of this in such detail, cheers for the info... wont invest in this

I think Craig Wright really needs to stop... he is damaging severely the reputation of cryptocurrencies as a whole...

Anyway, as far as his project goes... I have some from the hard fork, and I've shifted them to Bittrex, as there is no trustworthy wallet that I would store them in... I'm considering dumping them... but on the other hand, I never bought them so I might just let them sit there and see what happens. As for the chain itself, it appears to suffering more reorgs than is considered either safe or reliable...
